Teacher Info + Resources
All students in this class have at least taken our Spanish foundations class. Some have even more experience than just 1 semester, and others only have 1 semester experience, so ability levels will be a little mixed. The class should be taught mostly in Spanish and you should circle back to old material often (colors, number, weather, body parts, classroom commands...) and incorporate it into the new material.
By the end of the 8-weeks, students should be able to do the following in Spanish: talk about their family, describe familial relationships, express adoration, use diminutives (-ito/-ita) and superlatives (-isimo/-isima), use possessive adjectives (mi - my, tu - your...) talk about their pets/dream pets in Spanish, and sing various new songs!
Please follow the lessons provided as closely as you can. You may modify minor things to fit your students' needs. If you have a specific question, please feel free to ask!
