Hola! Sarah here, just dropping in with a super fun freebie to help you celebrate Earth Day (El día de la tierra – the day of the earth)
Since our theme of the week is “I love mi planeta”, our Spanish students will have a lot of opportunities to talk about our amazing and beautiful planet
They get to help clean up an oil spill, learn how they can help keep trash out of the oceans, discover the 7 wonders of the world, play charades, make a beautiful earth craft, and talk about the 3 R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle)… so much more… all in Spanish!
They’ll even get outside a couple of times with me to have a scavenger hunt, do some earth inspired yoga, and even plant a tree!!!
After doing the scavenger hunt with our students yesterday I thought it would be a fun activity that YOU could also do with your kids!
(Side note – it was SNOWING here in Missouri!!! Crazy)
So anyways, I wanted to share the fun!!!
Here is your freebie – Spanish Nature Scavenger Hunt Worksheet
Hopefully you get better spring weather to get out there and complete your search!
And here are some fun Lorax coloring pages I found. I thought they were so cute!
Maybe you and your kids could watch the Lorax movie while coloring them together!?
And then go plant a tree 😉
Anyways, whatever you do to celebrate Earth Day, I hope you get the chance to get outside and do something fun!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
