Ms. Monica Perez
Ms. Monica grew up in Michoacan, Mexico. She visited the U.S. many times as a child and decided to stay here when she was 8. Ms. Monica is fluent in Spanish. She loves working with kids. She's still attending college and will be majoring in Early Childhood Education. She is currently a teacher's assistant working with toddlers and kids ages 3-6 . She has also worked with kids from Pre-K to 5th grade. Ms. Monica is teaching in our Chicago Area Schools.
Mr. Greg Kratochvil
Mr. Greg has been a Bilingual Educator for a local school district for the past three years. He has a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Spanish from Iowa State University. He is currently studying for a second bachelor of arts degree in Special Education. Mr. Greg plans on traveling and teaching in Bogota, Colombia in the summer of 2018.
Ms. Kimberly Germain
Ms. Kimberly Germain is excited to be working with your sons and daughters, learning Spanish. She is from Detroit,MI but currently lives in Mt. Prospect,IL. She has a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish and is working on her Masters in TESOL(Teaching English to Speakers of Another Language). She has been studying Spanish for about 6 years now and has spent learning Spanish in Mexico and Ecuador. She hopes to travel to all of the Spanish speaking countries someday. Ms. Kimberly enjoys working with children and hopes that this will be a fun and impactful experience for the students!! She can’t wait to see your sons and daughters in class!! Lets make this a great semester:)!!
Ms. Michelle Contreras
Ms. Michelle Contreras is 38 years old and was born in Chicago, IL to Mexican immigrants from Acambaro, Guanajuato. She has always had a love for children and teaching so she decided to attend Morton College and National Louis University for her education degree. Spanish is her first language is fortunate to get an opportunity to teach it. Ms. Michelle started working for Language Quest which is a very similar program to Sarah's Spanish School. She was fortunate to become a stay at home mom, but never had the opportunity to finish her education degree. After 10 years, she started volunteering at her children's school library where she later became the school's play ground lunch supervisor. She now has the opportunity to pursue her dream of once again becoming an educator. She is very excited to once again be able to teach Spanish to children.
Ms. Jacqueline Alcala
Ms. Jacqueline Alcala is very excited and enthusiastic to be teaching your kids Spanish. She is from Aurora, IL and has a Bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration with a minor in Spanish from Western Illinois University. She has been studying Spanish for about 7 years now, but has spoken Spanish her whole life. Ms. Jacqueline loves working with children and hopes to make this semester fun, and life changing for everyone.
