Hello! Sarah here, owner of Sarah’s Spanish School. I have a question for you, but first…
I found this email that I sent out at this time last year. If you were on my list then, you might remember it?
I thought it was pretty ironic so I wanted to share it with you again.
Maybe you can see why?
Here’s the first paragraph.
“Aside from family, health, love, and tons of other stuff, do you want to know one thing that I am thankful for? Technology. It makes our lives so much easier by allowing us to connect with people we need in our lives, even if they don’t live close. For your child, that opens up a ton of really cool opportunities, such as learning Spanish from me!”
Wow.
Ironic, right? Even back in 2019 I was feeling thankful for technology.
Little did I know how thankful I would be for it at the same time 1 year later.
I had no idea it would end up being the ONLY way I could reach my students to teach them Spanish.
So I’m even more thankful for it now.
Because my business was able to survive.
I’m still able to teach your kids Spanish even though I can’t be there at their school with them.
I can still change the world in my own little way, through sharing the beauty of another language and culture.

I could tell you a few more things that I am grateful for, but this email would just get too long and I would be certain to leave some important ones off.
Even in the year 2020, my eyes just fill up with happy tears when I think about the GOOD in my life and in this world. (I’m feeling a little extra sappy today)
Anyways, here’s where my question to YOU comes in.
It’s so important, for our mind, body, and soul, to slow down sometimes and remember what we are thankful for. We should all do it at least once a day.
And if you’re anything like me, you need it even more than that right now.
So, in the spirit of the week of thanksgiving, I’d really like to know:
What is something that you are extra thankful for this year?
Is there something in 2020 that you will look back on and say “yeah, that was really good”?
Just hit “respond”
Feel free to share just one or more than one.
It would really make my day to hear from you. And it might make yours even a little better, too
